At least, that's how it feels some days at headquarters--which isn't even a real HQ; most commonly we just call it "home".
The model for the oasis arose from a simple need: sign up sheets online. Shauna, our VP of Marketing & Management, over time was president of the PTSA at our Elementary and Jr. High, and co-president at the local high school. At the time she wanted a way to keep track of various assignments for the volunteers she was coordinating. Her husband, Cam, quickly thought of a solution: SignUpOasis.com. After months of late nights and lots of tweaking, the finished product was ready to use--just in time for the next school year.
